We want you to be able to use this site in as troublefree and intuitive a manner as possible. In order for this to be the case you are recommended to access the system with the following internet capabilities.

  1. A modern browser. We do not recommend you use a browser older than internet explorer 6 or Firefox 1. We strongly recommend you use internet explorer 7 or Firefox 2.0.
  2. Cookies: This site works without cookies, but if you want the site to remember your login details you should allow cookies from this domain at the very least. You can find this setting in your browser typically under Internet Options | Privacy. Cookies on this site do not get used to collect any personal information. You should allow your club website domain in your browser privacysettings.
  3. Javascript: In order to have full functionality on this site you MUST allow javascript functions. In a nutshell the site will not function without it.
  4. PopUps. While it is possible to use the site without enabling PopUps, many help and informational functions require support for popups. We do not use this to feed any inappropriate content. You should allow your club website domain in your browser pop up settings.
  5. Mobile Phone access. If your club has purchased the optional mobile phone module for mobile phone booking, we cannot guarantee the site will perform in all browsers. If you discover any major issues halleynet web media would be interested to hear the issue. For best use, we recommend you access the site with a handset capable of full colour display, and with a HTTP1.1 capable browser.Best performance is realised on 3G, with GPRS being perfectly adequate under most circumstances. HSCSD or 14.4 kbps should be OK however if your handset is limited tot his type of access its unlikely the browser will be suitable.
  6. Fixed line access to the main site. Broadband access is recommended, however the site should perform well even on a reasonably slow dial up connection. It has been tested on a 54kbps GPRS modem connection and performed perfectly well. You may on slower connections experience a slight delay on the main bookings view and booking pages while the server fetches the desired date to your browser. This delay will be unoticeable in most broadband settings.
